Our RAID array hasn’t been right since the rebuild!
When it comes to RAID setups many of them now include what is known as a ‘hot swap’ facility which allows for the removal and installation of a new drive whilst the array is still in use. Although this may sound like a great idea and can often save time, when it goes wrong and the rebuild fails it can lead to many members of staff being unable to access data across the network. Our data recovery Viewpark staff have been asked to help with the rebuild of RAID devices after the installation of a new drive and also to ensure that the most up-to-date data has been recovered and reinstalled.

Once we have the drive at our data recovery centre our data recovery Viewpark staff will make a full inspection of the drive and report back with the results including a list of all the data that can be recovered. (If the data recovered is in excess of 30GBs we ask that you purchase an external storage device from our stocks). When you are satisfied that we can recover all the data you need we ask that you make payment to us by BACS or credit/debit card. On receipt of full payment we will recover your data to its new medium and return it to you via next day courier.
