Data Recovery Stirling: During the course of a year we perform thousands of successful data recoveries, reuniting users with the data they need to continue running their business or to complete university and college courses. We recover data for hobbyists who have been unfortunate enough to fall foul of malfunctioning hard drives as well. For more information on how we can help recover your data regardless of its uses, call us today on 0141 4040294.
Ask any computer user what is the one thing they don’t want to happen to their computer and more often than not they will tell you they don’t want the hard drive to fail before they have had a chance to do a backup. Our data recovery Stirling engineers are tasked many times during the course of the year with helping customers just like you regain control of their data that has fallen foul of a hard drive or other storage device that no longer wants to function correctly.
It is easy to say ‘I will do a backup tomorrow’ but sometimes, especially where hard drives and other storage devices are concerned, tomorrow never comes because fate can play its part and the components that go to make up these devices can fail without warning. Our data recovery Stirling engineers often hear that just prior to the failure of a hard drive the user was contemplating performing a backup but just didn’t get there in time. This is what we would call ‘the curse of the computer user!’
The majority of operating systems these days come with the ability to make backups built in; Microsoft Windows 8.1 has one as does Mac’s OS Mavericks but the problem with performing backups is that they need to be done when the machine is not in use and for some people that isn’t very often. Our hard drive recovery service is available to anyone, business or domestic, and we don’t judge anyone for not making a backup – it is something that whether you planned to do it or not your hard drive might well have other ideas.
The drive has failed no warning given!
It is unfair to say that you should expect some warning when a hard drive fails because in the majority of cases the hard drive will simply roll over and die depending on the nature of the issue with it. Our data recovery Stirling staff are often told that when the hard drive stopped working all was well just prior to it stopping. Indeed for many users they never see the potential dangers inherent with a failing hard drive until it is too late.
If you have a hard drive that is holding on to data that you need but can’t get access to it then contact our data recovery Stirling team on 0141 4040294 and a member of our team will talk you through the options open to you. They will provide you with an initial diagnosis of the problem and a no obligation quote (including any charges if the drive has sustained mechanical damage) and if you wish us to recover the data for you we ask that you send it to our data recovery centre via post, courier or in person if you are near enough.
On receipt of the drive our data recovery Stirling staff will make a final diagnosis of the problem and email you back with details of what has happened as well as details of the data that can be recovered (if the data to be retrieved is in excess of our 30GBs allowance we may ask that you purchase an external storage device from us) and if you are happy to proceed we will ask that you make payment to us via BACS or debit card or credit card. (We do not accept PayPal). Once payment has been received we will recover your data to its new media and return it to you via next day courier. To find out more or to ask for a no obligation quote call us on 0141 4040294 – our lines are open Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm as is our data recovery centre (we are closed Christmas Day and Easter).
