Hamilton Data Recovery

Data Recovery Hamilton: Whether it’s a Windows-based PC, a Mac, a LINUX or UNIX platform setup, or a more specialised mainframe system such as the IBM/AS400 or VAX, our engineers can recover data from the hard drives within them and get your business or manufacturing house back to work in the shortest possible time; this means that you are not losing out and your customers aren’t either. For more information on our recovery processes and how we can help retrieve your information from a failed storage device, call today on 0141 4040294.

Our data recovery Hamilton engineers know and understand that no two businesses are the same and neither are the computer setups they use. Some may favour the traditional Windows-based network whilst others such as designers and creative agencies may go for Macs. Manufacturing and industrial organisations may have more intricate systems based around Unix or Linux and require the use of multi-node or ‘virtual cluster’ arrays such as RAID 10. But whatever the setup you can be sure we can help recover your data should the worst happen and the internal storage device(s) fail.

Consider if you will the level of storage required for organisations that look after large numbers of patient or customer records such as government institutions or large multi-national companies. Our data recovery Hamilton engineers deal with such entities and do so with the ability to be able to reunite them quickly with important and confidential information that might have been written off as lost permanently.

Our RAID recovery processes allow us to help such enterprises regain control of their data and return to full operational capacity in the shortest time possible and where necessary we can offer a service that allows them to gain access to their retrieved data within 24 hours. This service, our Critical recovery service, is just one of several we offer to our customers should they need to avail of it.

Our RAID device’s ‘hot swap’ has failed!

When it comes to RAID arrays there are a variety of different kinds to choose from and many of them now include what is known as ‘hot swap’. This feature allows for the removal of a faulty drive the installation of its replacement whilst the RAID server itself is still powered on and allowing access to other mirrored drives. Sometimes however this function fails perhaps because of an issue with the formatting on the replacement drive.

If you have a drive that has failed in your RAID setup and need the data recovered from it call us on 0141 4040294 and speak to a member of our data recovery Hamilton team. They will be able to give you an initial diagnosis of the problem as well as a no obligation quote (this may include an additional charge if the drive has suffered mechanical damage). If you are happy with the explanation we have provided you with and wish us to recover your data then we ask that you send the drive to us (we do not need the whole setup just the drive) to our data recovery centre. You can use Royal Mail, courier or deliver it directly to our data recovery centre if you wish.

Once we have the drive our data recovery Hamilton team will inspect it and make a final diagnosis. We will then report back with our findings by electronic mail which will also include a list of all the data to be recovered (if the data is larger in volume than our 30GBs allowance we will ask you to purchase an external storage device) and if you are happy to continue we will ask that you make payment to us by BACS transfer or by credit or debit card. On receipt of payment we will recover your newly recovered data to its new media and return it by next day courier. For more information contact us on 0141 4040294 – our data recovery centre is open Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm as are our telephone lines.
